What few people know about this picture above! It was the day I was fortunate enough to commentate with one of my childhood heroes. At the same time this image was snapped my Father, Peter Diffey, was in a medically-induced coma in the final hours of his life. He had lost a brief and aggressive fight against lung & liver cancer and went alarmingly downhill in a space of hours. The very same hours I was on the air commentating with Greg Norman. My Dad passed that evening. I didn't tell the viewing audience and went on Network Ten and ONE HD the very next day to display the strength my Dad equipped me with, and in his honor completed the broadcast. This one's for you Pedro!
